Former Ghanaian international Baba Sule is sure that the Black Stars can secure qualification from Group H in the 2022 FIFA World Cup going on in Qatar.
Sule stressed that the addition of Inaki and other players have made the team strong and the Black Stars can go far in the tournament though is not easy.
“It’s not easy. The squad has young players with no experience, but they look eager. People didn’t give anything for Ghana to qualify against Nigeria, but they did.” Baba told Cadena
“So, seeing how eager the players are and now the bringing of Iñaki Williams, I think they’re going to try, at least, to qualify for the round of 16. Ghana in a World Cup is a source of pride because not all countries have been able to qualify. It is the fourth time that Ghana has qualified for a World Cup and I am very excited that they are there”.
Ghana will face Portugal in their opening Group H game on Thursday, November 26 before locking horns with South Korea and bitter rivals Uruguay.
