Ahead of the final group match between Ghana and Uruguay, South American forward Luis Suarez has revealed his side knows how to edge out the Black Stars.
A loss to Portugal on Monday means Uruguay have just one point from the opening two games and would have to beat the Black Stars if they are to stand any chance of progressing to the last 16.
According to him, the final match against the Black Stars is a do-or-die affair for them.
He stated that the team will put their lives and soul into the last match against Ghana’s Black Stars.
“We have one point and the final match against Ghana is a do or die,” he said. We have no option than to win to make our fans happy. We are going to put our lives and soul in this last match. Ghana is a good team but we know them, we have beaten the before and we know how to beat them again.
“We have watched their video clips and they have a porous defence, we will utilize that to beat them.”
The game with Uruguay is scheduled for a 3PM kickoff on Friday.
