The Ministry of Youth and Sports released funds to the tune of $11.5 million (GHC142,426,907.36) to support the Black Stars and Black Queens in the year 2022.
The Black Stars played some World Cup qualifiers and the tournament proper later in the year.
Black Queens also played the Women’s AFCON qualifiers, a tournament they ultimately failed to make.
In conclusion, GHC 132,437,033.1 was spent on the Black Stars alone with GHS 1,980,507.86 on the Black Queens.
