Qatar Stars League giant, Al Sadd Sporting Club has announced that the club has officially released Ghana captain Andre Ayew with immediate effect.
According to the release by the club, the two parties mutually agreed to end their marriage after just two years.
“OFFICIAL: Al-Sadd SC has reached an agreement with Andre Ayew to terminate his contract with the club by mutual consent.
Thank you Andre”, the club announced.
The Ghanaian international scored 15 goals in his first season with the club ending the season as the team’s top scorer and second highest scorer in the league.
He won the league title with the club in his first season and helped them to qualify to the Asia Football Confederation Champions League.
