Ghana forward Grejohn Kyei was named Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s victory in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon at home to SCO Angers.

The former FC St Gallen in Switzerland player played full throttle for his team as they pipped their opponent in a highly competitive game.

Adrien Hunou gave the visitors a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute of the encounter after he was set up by Algerian international Nabil Bentaleb.

Five minutes later after the home team went down by a goal, the Ghanaian attacker, Kyei grabbed the equalizer to restore parity after the 33rd minute mark.

Muhammad-Cham Caracevic converted a spot kick inside 39 minutes of the match to turn the game on its head to give Clermont Foot the lead heading into the first half.

There were no more goals in the second 45 minutes of the encounter which saw the host earning a hard fought but thoroughly deserved win over their opponents on the day.

The 27-year-old France-based Ghanaian forward has six goals and two assists in 30 appearances in the French top-flight.
