The Chairman of Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo says games between Accra Hearts of Oak SC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC have become ordinary.

He says there’s no excitement in watching the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana in recent times because games between them have been rendered ordinary.

Both teams will end the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League and MTN FA CUP campaign without a trophy and will miss out on the Africa intercontinental club competition.

“If they are doing well they will pull people to watch matches but they are ordinary, that is we have rendered them ordinary.”

“So the excitement is not there if you go to Spain it is about Barcelona and Real Madrid,” Kudjoe Fianoo told Happy FM as quoted by Footballghana

“You come to Germany it is about Bayern Munich – Dortmund, in the UK it is about Manchester United, Liverpool those traditional clubs. That is why I am so excited that Bofoakwa is back,” he added.

Hearts of Oak SC for instance are 11th on the league table 33 games with 45 points as relegation stares at them with Kotoko aiming to finish in the top four.
