VfB Stuttgart is facing strong competition from four other clubs in their pursuit of highly sought-after Los Angeles FC winger Kwadwo Poku.

The talented Ghanaian player has attracted the attention of several European teams, leading to an intensified race for his signature.

According to reports from Germany, Nice, Bordeaux, Rangers, and Celtic have all entered the race to secure the services of the former Attram De Visser Academy player.

Stuttgart is reportedly interested in signing Opoku this summer as a replacement for the departing Tanguy Koulibaly, as reported by Footballghana.com.

At just 21 years old, Poku has already received a call-up to Ghana’s squad for the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Poku has been in sensational form for Los Angeles FC, playing a crucial role in their successful 2022 Major League Soccer title and 2022 Supporters’ Shield campaign.

During their title-winning MLS season in 2022, Poku scored 7 goals and provided two assists in 34 games, starting in 20 of them.

In the current season, he has contributed two goals and an assist in 13 games, with 11 of those appearances as a starter.
