Yussif Chibsah, a former player of the Black Meteors, has expressed his strong belief in the capabilities of Nordsjaelland forward Ernest Nuamah, stating that he has the potential to become a prominent figure in world football.

At just 19 years old, Nuamah has been delivering exceptional performances for both his club and the national team, earning him various accolades and prestigious nominations, including the 2023 Golden Boy Award.

After impressing at the U-23 level for Ghana’s Black Meteors, his consistent performances led to a call-up to the senior national team, the Black Stars.

Despite the early exit of the Black Meteors from the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Nuamah played a vital role in Ghana’s campaign, scoring their opening goal against Congo.

Chibsah firmly believes that Nuamah possesses the potential to make a global impact if he maintains his hard work and dedication.

“He is a big talent and there is more to be realized of him. He has to keep working hard he shouldn’t relax in his comfort zone because he has a lot more to give out.

“He’s just gotten his maiden invitation to the senior national team that’s obviously that is also a sign to boost his confidence and morale up,” he told Citi FM.

Nuamah’s exceptional performances in the Danish league earned him notable accolades, including the Danish Superliga Player of the Year, as well as the Superliga head coaches’ Spring Best Player and the Superliga Players’ Player of the Year. This further highlights his immense talent and potential for greatness.

With room for improvement, Chibsah believes Nuamah can elevate himself to become one of the best players in the world.

“Obviously he is a big talent but he has a small room for improvement because he can rise up to be one of the best players in the world” he added.

The future looks bright for this young and promising talent as he continues to shine on the football stage.
