Senegalese super star Sadio Mane believes Ghana is a good team enough to be counted among the favorites to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The current best player in Africa thinks Ghana’s Black Stars can win the AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast next year between January and February.
Despite Ghana’s recent disappointment at the TotalEnergies Cup of Nations tournament, the Bayern Munich player believes the Black Stars can win the tournament.
“The AFCON is full of surprises, but we know the usual best teams like the hosts, Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Algeria and Cameroon,” he said, as quoted by Joueurs Cameroonais.
Ghana struggled at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon and were eliminated from the competition from the group by minnows, Comoros on the final day of the group stages games.
