Ghanaian forward Abdul-Aziz Yakubu has been named in the Chinese Super League July Team-Of-The-Month following his exploits for Wuhan Three Towns FC.
The Ghana forward was very instrumental for his team in last month in the Chinese top-flight with consistent performances for the Blue and Whites outfit.
He bagged a stupendous hat-trick in his first match in the month away at Shenzhen FC when his team won 3-1 on the road and was subsequently named Man-Of-The-Match.
He scored his fourth league goal of the month with a winner at home to Changchun Yatai in a hard earned 2-1 win for Wuhan and won the Man-Of-The-Match award again.
He also scored in his team’s 3-1 defeat at Shanghai Port FC to make it five goals in three consecutive games for his team.
After firing blank in the next, he bounced back with a brace in Wuhan Three Towns FC 2-1 win over Meizhou Hakka to make it seven goals in five appearances in the month of July.
Following his dazzling, consistent and brilliant displays in those five matches, the young lad has deservedly been named in the Team-Of-The-Month in China for July.
