Ghanaian Champions Medeama SC captain Vincent Atinga Addae is calling for the club’s fans to troop into the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday to support the team.
The Yellow and Mauves are playing in the CAF Champions League League for the first time in the history of the club after winning the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League title.
Their captain, who’s not new to the African terrain has urged the fans of the club to come to the stadium in their numbers to offer an unflinching love and support to the team.
He also asked the whole of Western Region to give the Tarkwa-based club support to excel in the 2023-24 CAF Champions League prelims to help them seal through to the group stages of the competition.
“I will just urge the fans to come in their numbers to support the team. I will say Central and Western region are like twins and so if the western region club is representing the country or central region club representing the country, it’s the same thing. So, I am calling on all the supporters to come in to support us on Sunday.
Medeama will take on the Nigerian club this Sunday afternoon at the Cape Coast stadium before the second leg in a week’s time.
