Medeama SC have qualified to the group stages of the CAF Champions League for the first time in their history.
The Ghana Premier League champions qualified to the next stage of the competition despite their 2-1 defeat to AC Horoya in Conakry on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
The Mauve and Yellows achieved this milestone after eliminating AC Horoya in a two legged tie.
With the second leg in Guinea ending 2-1, Medeama qualified with a 4-3 aggregate scoreline.
This is because Medeama SC defeated AC Horoya 3-1 in the first leg at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
