Ahead of this afternoon’s Betpawa Premier League match in week four against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko’s coach, Dr. Nartey Ogum, has announced his starting lineup.
Accra Lions are set to face Asante Kotoko after an unbeaten run of three league games in the ongoing season. They are up against an Asante Kotoko side that has yet to secure a victory in their first three matches, with one loss against Bibiani Gold Stars and two draws at home against Heart of Lions (0-0) and Karela United (1-1).
Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, the manager of the Porcupine Warriors, has made several changes compared to his last fixture, which ended in a 1-1 draw with Karela United. Players like Sheriff Mohammed, Baba Yahaya, Richmond Lamptey, Augustine Agyapong, and Ntim Andrews Manu have returned to Ogum’s starting XI as they prepare for a crucial encounter with Accra Lions.
This marks the first time that Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has gone three games without a win while managing Asante Kotoko, following three consecutive wins in the 2021/22 season when he led the team to victory in the league.
