An Accra High Court on Thursday, October 12, 2023, struck out the Application for Injunction filed by King Faisal FC against the Ghana Football Association in relation to the GFA Elections Roadmap.
King Faisal owner, Alhaji Karim Grusah filed an injunction to stop the 2023 Ghana Football Association elections from being over claims that the roadmap constituted illegalities.
Despite the injunction that was placed on the elections, GFA continued the elections which Kurt Okraku being elected in Temale for another 4-year-term.
Many concluded that the GFA differed the orders of a court and will likely face the wrath of the court.
However, it has now been established that King Faisal’s lawyers withdrew their injunction application before the elections where held.
The judge on Thursday therefore struck out the Injunction Application was withdrawn.
