Ghanaian young talent Kwame Poku showcased his skills by scoring a goal and providing an assist in Peterborough United’s 3-1 victory over the Tottenham Hotspur Academy during the EFL Trophy Southern Grp. D Round 2 on Tuesday evening.

Emmanuel Fernandez leveled the scores with a powerful close-range header, thanks to a splendid in-swinging corner from Harrison Burrows, 30 minutes into the game.
On the 53rd minute, Peterborough took the lead with a goal from Jones, set up by Kwame Poku, who made an excellent play down the right, allowing Jones’ shot to slip through Keeley’s hands and into the net.
Kwame Poku wrapped up an impressive run from defense to attack for Peterborough, curling a beautiful left-footed shot into the top corner after Jamie Donley’s effort went over the bar for Spurs.
This season, the Ghanaian attacker has participated in two matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the EFL Trophy.
