Coach Chris Hughton acknowledges the heightened level of teams in Africa, emphasizing the toughness and excitement of the upcoming AFCON.
The blend of elite talents and emerging stars in Ghana’s squad adds to the pressure to deliver success and satisfy the long-standing hunger for an AFCON title.
However, Hughton is adamant the competition will be fiercely contested. “The level of teams in Africa is as strong as it’s ever been,” he insisted.
“There are so many more players at big European clubs which makes the Afcon tougher and more exciting for everybody.”
