Egypt aims to maintain their excellent start in the CAF World Cup qualifiers as they face Sierra Leone at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex on Sunday.

Match Preview:
Sierra Leone started their qualification campaign with a delayed match against Ethiopia, ending in a 0-0 draw. Despite unusual circumstances, they are unbeaten in their last three matches. However, facing Egypt, who showcased dominance with a 6-0 win over Djibouti, poses a significant challenge for the Leone Stars.

Sierra Leone’s Recent Performance:
Sierra Leone secured a point against Ethiopia in challenging conditions and maintained an unbeaten streak in their last three matches. Their history against Egypt, where they avoided defeat in the 2010-11 meetings, gives them some confidence.

Egypt’s Recent Performance:
Egypt displayed strength in their first qualifier with a 6-0 victory over Djibouti, led by Mohamed Salah’s exceptional performance. The Pharaohs are on a three-match winning streak, including a notable 1-1 draw against Algeria.

Team News:
Sierra Leone’s Alhassan Koroma and Sullay Kaika may feature in midfield, while Jonathan Morsay is expected to play as the advanced midfielder. Mohamed Buya Turay could lead the attack.

Egypt’s Rui Vitoria may make some changes, with Ali Gabr returning to the starting 11. Hamdi Fathi and Trezeguet might start in place of Marwan Attia and Zizo, respectively.

Possible Starting Lineups:
Sierra Leone: Sesay; Kakay, A. Kabia, M. Kabia, Samadia; Fornah, Dumbuya; Morsay, Koroma, Kaika; Turay

Egypt: El-Shenawy; Gabr, Hegazi, Hany, Maaloul; Fathi, Elneny, Marmoush; Salah, Trezeguet, Mohamed

Prediction:
Expecting a one-sided encounter, Egypt is likely to secure a 3-0 victory over Sierra Leone, maintaining their strong form.
