Burkina Faso is in talks with authorities in Côte d’Ivoire to use Stade de la Paix in Bouaké as their home stadium. This comes as Burkina Faso doesn’t have a stadium that meets the standards set by CAF and FIFA for international matches.

The discussions aim to secure a suitable venue for Burkina Faso’s national team to play their home games. Stade de la Paix in Bouaké is being considered as it meets the required standards for hosting international matches.

The lack of a CAF/FIFA standard stadium in Burkina Faso has been a challenge for the national team. Having a suitable home venue is crucial for their participation in international competitions and hosting matches against other nations.

By collaborating with Côte d’Ivoire authorities, Burkina Faso hopes to ensure that their national team has access to a proper stadium for training and playing matches. This partnership reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity among African nations in the world of football.

Securing Stade de la Paix in Bouaké would provide Burkina Faso with a temporary solution while efforts continue to develop a suitable stadium within their own borders. It’s a practical step towards addressing the infrastructure needs of Burkina Faso’s football federation.

As discussions progress, both countries are working towards reaching an agreement that benefits the development of football in the region. Having a home venue that meets international standards will not only benefit Burkina Faso’s national team but also contribute to the growth and success of African football as a whole.
