Ghanaian midfielder Keenan Appiah-Forson returns to West Ham after Dagenham & Redbridge loan deal

English-born Ghanaian Keenan Appiah-Forson, has ended his loan spell with Dagenham & Redbridge FC and will return to his parent club West Ham United, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

The 21-year-old player was farmed out in an opportunity to gain valuable experience and further his development.

Appiah-Forson, featured regularly for Dagenham & Redbridge, playing a total of 27 matches and scoring once in the process. He also delivered one assist for the club.

During the 2022/23 season, Appiah-Forson showcased his potential by making 32 appearances for West Ham U21s, which was the highest number of matches played by any player in the development squad.

He also earned a spot in the first team, making an appearance in the UEFA Europa Conference League Group B victory against FCSB in November 2022. This followed his senior debut as a late substitute in the 1-0 UEFA Europa League Group H match against GNK Dinamo Zagreb in December 2021.

The player posted a photo on Instagram to announce the end of his loan deal and wished the club the very best in the future as he returns to David Moyes’ side to fight for his Premier League breakthrough hopefully next season.
