Liverpool FC has released English-born Ghanaian defender Francis Gyimah.
Gyimah, a talented left-back, made his U18s debut for Liverpool FC as an U16 player during the 2021-22 season.
The 17-year-old arrived at the Liverpool Academy as an U14 player after impressing the Reds on an international schools programme.
During the 2022-23 season, Gyimah featured for the U18s as a first-year scholar, making 21 appearances for the Merseyside club.
The young defender recently had trials with Championship side Stoke City, hoping to land a deal.
