Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo has made three changes to his starting line-up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic later tonight at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The former Ghana midfielder maintains the three-back system but with some changes to the personnel for the task ahead. Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew who scored Ghana’s winning goal against Mali on Thursday, starts ahead of Antoine Semenyo, while Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Kamal Deen Sulemana come in for Ernest Nuamah and Tariq Lamptey.

The backline remains the same with the likes of Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Alidu Seidu, Gideon Mensah, Mohammed Salisu and Alexander Djiku being called upon once again with Thomas Partey and Abdul Samed Salis getting the defensive midfield responsibilities.

Abdul Fatawu Isshaku and Kamal Deen Sulemana will operate as wingers while Mohammed Kudus sits behind Jordan Ayew in attack.

Ghana are in need of a win to brighten our chances of making it to yet another FIFA World Cup after coming from behind to beat Mali 2-1 in Bamako.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup Group I qualifier is scheduled for 7pm (19:00Hrs) Kick off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, June 10, 2024.
