Hearts of Oak are in talks with Berekum Chelsea to sign goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere, Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively report.

According to an inside source at the club, Hearts of Oak have been negotiating with the athletic goalkeeper for the past three games of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

The 20-year-old Sekyere has been in exceptional form for Berekum Chelsea, impressing fans and coaches alike with his shot-stopping abilities.

He kept 12 clean sheets in 28 games and conceded 31 goals in the just-ended league season.

Hearts of Oak are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season and have identified Sekyere as a key target.

The move is seen as a major coup for the Accra-based club, who are seeking to improve their goalkeeping department following recent errors from their current shot-stoppers.
