Asante Kotoko has secured the services of midfielder Emmanuel Antwi, who has finally achieved his lifelong dream of donning the Porcupines’ jersey.
The 24-year-old joined the Kumasi-based club on a free transfer after leaving Great Olympics, penning a three-year deal with the Ghana Premier League giants.
Antwi, who excelled in his last two seasons with Great Olympics, made 26 appearances in the last league campaign, contributing six goals and five assists.
He has committed to the Porcupines following a successful medical examination in Kumasi.
Speaking to Kotoko media, Antwi expressed his excitement at realizing his childhood ambition: “I am thrilled to be here as it has been a childhood dream of mine to play for Kotoko. I am excited to wear the jersey and look forward to contributing to the team. Knowing some of the current players will help me settle in quickly and focus on the task ahead.”
