Ghana international goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott has completed his transfer to English League One side Crawley Town, signing a two-year contract with the club.
The 27-year-old was previously with Scottish Premiership side Hibernian, where injuries restricted him to just nine appearances last season.
Wollacott is thrilled to have secured the move and is eager to start this new chapter in his career.
“I am delighted to get the deal over the line,” he said. “It was a quick turnaround, so I am very happy it was done quickly. Unfortunately, last season did not work out for me, so I was looking for a solution,” he told the club’s website.
With extensive experience from his early days at Bristol City, where he spent eight years and had multiple loan spells, Wollacott brings a wealth of knowledge to Crawley Town. He also has fond memories of his time at Swindon Town, where he had a loan spell and reunited with current Crawley Town manager Scott Lindsey.
Wollacott spoke highly of Lindsey, reflecting positively on their time together at Swindon. He is now looking forward to working with the manager again and contributing to Crawley Town’s success.
