Nsoatreman FC halted their run of four consecutive defeats with a commanding 3-1 win over Legon Cities on Sunday in match week five of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League at the Nana Kromansah Park.
The victory propelled Yaw Preko’s side to eighth place on the league table, earning them six points from four games. Meanwhile, Legon Cities remain rooted at the bottom with just one point, having drawn one match and lost the other four this season.
Nsoatreman took control early, with Richard Acquaah opening the scoring just ten minutes into the game. Nineteen minutes later, Walid Fuseini doubled the lead, setting the hosts firmly on the path to victory. Anokye Morrison further extended their advantage, scoring the third goal five minutes before halftime.
Despite a consolation goal from Legon Cities’ midfielder Mohammed Alidu in the first minute of added time, it was too little, too late for the Royals as their struggles continue.
