Ghana Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is confident his team will secure a much-needed victory against Sudan in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match on Tuesday, October 15.

Speaking ahead of the crucial Round 4 fixture, Addo expressed optimism about his side’s chances, hoping for a bit of luck to claim all three points after what he considered unfortunate results in their recent outings against Angola and Sudan.

“I’m very satisfied with the training. I think the boys adapted well. They’re already willing to show what they can, and he had to make the last result out of their heads. And I think it’s obvious that we need goals. We created a lot of chances against Angola. We deserve to win this game. We didn’t play well against Niger in the last game. Yeah, I think we also deserve to win. Very unlucky. But there’s a speech in German, I think English is three times lucky.

Addo highlighted that while Ghana didn’t perform to their best in recent matches, he believes that a strong performance in Tuesday’s game will bring the desired victory.

“So, I think we have two good games with Angola, and also our last game with Sudan at home. And this is the third game now, and when we play the way we played the last game, we will be able to win,” Coach Otto Addo said.

The match between Sudan and Ghana is set to kick off at 13:00 GMT.
