Ignatius Osei-Fosu, assistant coach of the Sudan national team, has spoken highly of Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew, describing him as an already established player who doesn’t require tactical instructions but rather motivation to perform at his best.
Speaking in an interview with Pure FM sports, Osei-Fosu emphasized that Ayew, with his vast experience and skill, is beyond the need for specific coaching on how to play.
“Jordan Ayew is an established player already,” said Osei-Fosu. “He doesn’t need more instructions from a coach. You only need to motivate him to play for you.”
Ayew, who has had an illustrious career at both club and international levels, has been a key figure in Ghana’s national team for several years. With extensive experience playing in top European leagues, including stints at Olympique Marseille, Swansea City, and Crystal Palace, Ayew is widely regarded as one of the best talents to come out of Ghana in recent times.
His contributions to the Black Stars have been significant, as he has consistently delivered performances at major tournaments such as the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the FIFA World Cup. Osei-Fosu’s remarks underline the importance of motivating players like Ayew, whose mental and emotional state plays a significant role in their performances.
