Medeama SC Communications Director Nana Effah Asare has expressed confidence that the Yellow and Mauve will reclaim the Ghana Premier League title by the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

The 2022/23 champions have recorded six wins, three draws, and four defeats after 13 matches, amassing 21 points and sitting in sixth position on the league table.

In an interview, Nana Effah Asare reiterated the club’s ambition to secure the title and earn a place in African competitions.

“It’s unfortunate we couldn’t defend the title last season. We’ve learned from our mistakes. It’s too early to call, but our objective is to win the league and secure a spot in Africa. I can confidently say Medeama will win the Premier League title this season,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Medeama has parted ways with head coach Nebojsa Kapor following the expiration of his one-year contract.

The Bosnian coach, who joined the club in December 2023, departs after failing to reach an agreement on a contract extension with the Yellow and Mauve.
