Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo showcased his brilliance once again, converting a crucial penalty to help AFC Bournemouth secure a 2-0 victory over Everton in the FA Cup Round 4 at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Semenyo was in blistering form, playing a pivotal role in Bournemouth’s triumph as they cruised past the Toffees.

Everton captain James Tarkowski endured a difficult afternoon, conceding a penalty before making a costly error that led to Bournemouth’s second goal.

The Black Stars attacker, who had previously sparked a Bournemouth comeback victory at Goodison Park in August 2024, won and converted the penalty in the 22nd minute, giving his side the lead.

Bournemouth doubled their advantage before halftime when Daniel Jebbison capitalized on Tarkowski’s mistake to slot home the second goal of the match.

With no further goals in the highly anticipated clash, the Cherries comfortably advanced to the FA Cup Round 5, keeping their hopes alive in the competition.

Semenyo, 25, has been in outstanding form this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

In the FA Cup, he has been particularly impressive, recording two goals and an assist in just two matches, further proving his importance to Bournemouth’s attacking setup.
