Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Gold Stars, Akwasi Adu, has voiced strong confidence in his team’s ability to clinch the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title, as they prepare for a pivotal showdown with Asante Kotoko on Sunday, May 25.
Following the suspension of Nsoatreman, Gold Stars were awarded a default victory, keeping their title hopes alive. Speaking to the media, Adu emphasized that their path to the title is clear: win every remaining match.
“Our mission is clear: win every match ahead of us. That’s the only way to remain in contention for the title,” Adu declared.
Gold Stars recently suffered a surprising defeat to Karela United, but Adu praised the swift and strategic response of the technical team, led by head coach Frimpong Manso. He expressed confidence that the necessary corrections have been made to keep the team on track.
He further noted that should both Gold Stars and Kotoko win all their remaining fixtures, his side would still finish ahead, reinforcing his belief in their strong position heading into the final stretch.
With three games remaining, Bibiani Gold Stars remain fully focused on their quest for a historic league triumph.
