Ghanaian defender Ema Twumasi has signed for Polish top flight side Piast Gilwice on a two-year deal with an option for another year.
The efficient right-back moved to the Polish outfit as a free agent. He last played for FC Dallas in the US Major Soccer League.
The 28-year-old lateral defender is expected to bring the needed urgency to the right side of the defense of Piast Gilwice. They struggled in that department during the 2024/25 season.
A product of Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, Twumasi, moved to the US in 2016, signing for Oakwood U19. Further transfers saw him featuring for Michigan Bucks, among others.
He holds both Ghanaian and US citizenship but has not been capped at any level by both countries.
