Ghanaian forward Frank Acheampong has earned a spot in the Chinese Super League Team of the Month for June following his outstanding performances for Henan FC.
The former Black Stars winger was Henan’s standout player last month, featuring in all five league matches and scoring three crucial goals. His efforts have been recognized as he becomes the only player from Henan FC to make the prestigious monthly team.
Acheampong, who previously played for Anderlecht, took to social media to celebrate the achievement. “Honoured to be selected for the Chinese Super League Team of the Month,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter).
This season, the 31-year-old has been in fine form, recording seven goals and two assists in 19 league appearances for Henan FC. His consistent impact has made him one of the key figures in the club’s campaign.
