Ghana’s Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, has praised the Black Stars for their hard-fought victory over Mali in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
In a heartfelt message, the minister said, “Thank you, Black Stars! You poured your hearts out on the pitch. With grit, discipline and determination, you gave Ghana something to believe in again. We’re proud of you. The journey continues.”
The Black Stars secured a 1-0 win over Mali, thanks to a goal from Alexander Djiku. The victory has lifted Ghana to the top of their group with 19 points from 8 games.
The minister encouraged the players and the technical team to keep pushing as Ghana prepares for the final two qualifying matches against the Central African Republic and Comoros.
