Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has praised Ghanaian forward Brandon Thomas-Asante for his dedication, versatility, and consistent performances following his brace against Portsmouth in the English Championship.
Speaking after the match, Lampard commended the Black Stars attacker for his strong work ethic and professionalism, noting that he returned for pre-season in top shape and has maintained a high level ever since.
According to Lampard, Thomas-Asante’s ability to adapt across different attacking roles makes him a vital part of the team’s setup.
“All credit to him because he works so hard. He came back on the first day of pre-season ready to go. You move him around and nothing changes — he’s effective in the No.10 role, on the wings, or up front. His pressing is great, and you can see his talent,” Lampard said.
Thomas-Asante has now recorded eight goals and four assists in eleven league matches this season, emerging as one of Coventry City’s standout players in their push for Premier League promotion.
