Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah has expressed satisfaction with his side’s hard-earned point following their goalless draw against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
The Hunters faced the Yellow and Mauves on Saturday in a Week 11 fixture of the 2025/26 top-flight season at the TnA Stadium, where both teams delivered a competitive and disciplined performance but were ultimately unable to break the deadlock.
Despite creating promising moments, neither side could find the decisive touch, resulting in a share of the spoils.
Speaking after the match, Coach Amissah acknowledged that while Bechem United aimed for all three points, securing a draw—especially against a strong Medeama side—was still a positive outcome.
“I think the point is good for us. We need to make sure we continue like that,” he said.
He added: “Today, we wanted to win because they tagged us as underdogs. But for us, we wanted to win.”
Bechem United will now shift focus to their Week 12 home fixture against Hohoe United as they look to build momentum in the league.
