Hearts of Oak will play the remainder of their 2025/26 Ghana Premier League home matches at the University of Ghana Stadium, leaving the Accra Sports Stadium for the first time this season.
The club has not given an official reason for the move, but it comes amid growing pressure from fans calling for a change of home ground. Hearts have struggled at the Accra Sports Stadium this season, securing just six points from five home matches—the second-lowest home tally in the league.
Their only home win came in a 1-0 victory over bottom-placed Techiman Eleven Wonders. A defeat to rivals Asante Kotoko, coupled with a string of draws, has characterized the rest of their home campaign.
The Phobians are scheduled to make their debut at their temporary venue on Saturday, November 29, against Vision FC.
