Italian Serie D side Ostia Mare have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah, who joins the club at the Anco Marzio after spending the first half of the season with Chieti.
Donsah brings experience, personality, and energy to David D’Antoni’s squad, offering the coach valuable depth and fresh tactical options in midfield. Known for his mobility, ball-winning ability, and work rate, he is expected to integrate quickly and boost the team’s overall competitiveness.
The 29-year-old arrives with a rich résumé, having made 89 Serie A appearances across spells with Hellas Verona, Cagliari, and Bologna, where he featured regularly against top-tier opposition. His career also includes experience in Serie B, the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, and the Turkish Süper Lig, adding an international edge to his profile.
Ostia Mare emphasised that his arrival strengthens the core of the squad and adds significant quality for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.
Donsah is already available for selection and will begin training immediately with his new teammates as he works toward making his debut.
