Dreams FC climbed out of the relegation places after recording a solid win over Bechem United on Sunday afternoon.
The Still Believe lads halted their two-match winless run with a 2–1 triumph at the Tuba Astroturf in their Ghana Premier League match-week 13 encounter.
Bechem United’s difficult season continued as they suffered their seventh defeat of the campaign. Their troubles began early when a defensive mix-up resulted in an own goal just six minutes into the game.
Buoyed by the early breakthrough, Dreams FC kept piling on the pressure and doubled their advantage in the 15th minute. Abdul Razak finished off a neat pass from Suraj Seidu with a composed strike.
Despite the early setback, Bechem United grew into the game and reduced the deficit through Yaw Annor in the 30th minute, giving the visitors hope heading into the break.
The Hunters came out stronger in the second half and pushed for an equalizer, with Darlvin Yeboah and Afriyie Derrick both coming close. However, their attempts proved fruitless as Dreams FC held firm to protect their lead.
The win lifts Dreams FC to 14th on the table with 14 points, moving them out of the bottom three, while Bechem United remain 17th with only 10 points after 13 matches.
