The Ghana Football Association has announced a clear process for supporters seeking tickets to watch the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be staged in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The football governing body says fans across the world can apply for FIFA PMA access codes, which will allow them to purchase match tickets through FIFA’s official ticketing system. Interested supporters are required to submit their requests via a dedicated email address provided by the association.
According to the GFA, the access codes will cover Ghana’s three group-stage matches against Panama, England, and Croatia, as well as any knockout fixtures the Black Stars may qualify for during the tournament.
The association has cautioned that tickets for Ghana’s matches will be limited. As a result, access codes will be issued only to applicants who meet FIFA’s ticketing requirements and conditions. Supporters who receive codes will be able to choose their preferred matches and ticket categories when applying through FIFA’s draw system.
FIFA will be responsible for determining the number of tickets allocated to each participating country and will also assign seat locations within the selected categories. The GFA explained that ticket prices and categories will follow FIFA’s standard structure.
It was further clarified that the tickets available through this arrangement do not include the special USD 60 Supporter Entry Tier tickets introduced by FIFA for travelling fans.
The timeline released indicates that access codes will be sent out in early January, with applications closing on January 22, 2026. Applicants will have the opportunity to amend or resubmit their entries before January 13. Successful applicants are expected to receive confirmation by email in February, while ticket distribution is projected for the second quarter of 2026.
The GFA has encouraged supporters to apply early due to high demand and assured fans that more updates on Ghana’s World Cup journey will be shared in due course.
