Ghana international Majeed Ashimeru has emerged as transfer target from clubs in Denmark, accoring to RSC Anderlecht.
The 28-year-old has once again been left out of the 29-man squad travelling to Spain for a winter training camp.
Anderlecht sporting director Olivier Renard is facing a busy transfer window as he has to decide on the future of the talented midfielder.
Ashimeru was declared surplus to requirements in the First Team before the start of the season but has been keeping fit with the club’s U23 side in the second-tier league.
He has since scored one goal in many appearances.
Ashimeru, formerly of Ghana Premier League side WAFA SC, joined Anderlecht in summer 2021, with his current contract expiring in 2027.
