English EFL League Two side Harrogate Town are set to sign striker Emile Acquah, with Dundee happy to let the forward leave this January, Sportsworldghana.com understands.
The Sulphurites are firmly in the relegation picture this season, and face a big January in order to remain in the EFL.
According to the Daily Record’s Gavin Berry, Scottish Premiership side Dundee have allowed Emile Acquah to return to League Two this season with a move to Harrogate Town.
Having previously featured in the fourth tier last season with Barrow, the Tayside club made a move for the forward, signing him for an undisclosed fee.
Acquah has had a tough time at Dens Park, only making two starts in the Scottish Premiership and has failed to score in the league across his 263 minutes.
Dundee have been struggling to give him game time since arriving at Dens Park, and it seems a move to Harrogate will help him get regular action ahead of next season, with Berry’s report suggesting Acquah will fight for a place in Scotland next season.
This is a strong signing for Harrogate to make, but is by no means the only signing they need to make if they are to avoid relegation come May.
