Ebenezer Acquah and FC Samartex 1996 have agreed on a temporary transfer that will see the experienced midfielder continue his career in Iraq for the remainder of the 2025/2026 season.

Ebenezer Acquah has joined Al-Etsalat Sporting Club on loan, with the deal including an option for the Iraqi side to make the move permanent if agreed conditions are met. The transfer marks a significant step for the player, who has been one of the standout performers for the Samreboi-based club.

During his time with the Timber Giants, Acquah established himself as a dependable leader, earning praise for his discipline, work ethic, and professionalism both on and off the pitch. His influence in midfield and commitment to the club played a key role in Samartex’s recent campaigns.

FC Samartex 1996 has expressed appreciation for Acquah’s service and contribution, while extending best wishes as he begins this new chapter abroad. The club has also indicated it will closely follow his progress in Iraq, hopeful that he will continue to grow and succeed on the international stage.

The move adds to the growing list of Ghanaian players seeking opportunities outside the country, highlighting the expanding global reach of local talent.
