French Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyonnais have announced the signing of Danish-born Ghanaian forward Noah Nartey from Brondby until 2030.
The Danish Under-21 international has signed a five-year contract, until June 30, 2030, in a €7.5M transfer, with bonuses of up to €2.5M and a 20% sell-on clause.
Aged 20, Noah Nartey has established himself as one of the most promising young talents in the Danish league. Trained at Brondby, he quickly joined the first team and played more than 70 professional matches (12 goals), in all competitions since the 2023/24 season, illustrating his maturity, high technical quality and versatility in midfield.
According to the club, “The arrival of Noah Nartey is fully in line with Olympique Lyonnais’ strategy, which intends to rely on high-potential profiles, permanently integrated into the club’s project.”
Meanwhile, Noah Nartey, recently confirmed that he has been approached by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over a potential international switch to represent Ghana.
However, the 20-year-old midfielder, who has Ghanaian heritage but was born and raised in Denmark, says his focus remains firmly on representing Denmark — the country he has featured for across multiple youth levels.
