Ghana striker Mohammed Fuseini made a brief appearance for Union Saint-Gilloise, coming off the bench to play 23 minutes in their 2–0 away defeat to FC Bayern München in Matchday 7 of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
The Belgian side found it difficult against the German giants and were unable to overturn the deficit despite late efforts. Fuseini was introduced to add pace and attacking energy but Union SG could not find a way back into the game.
Following the result, Union Saint-Gilloise sit 31st on the league table with six points after seven matches. Fuseini earned a player rating of 6.3 for his performance on the night.
