Swedish Allsvenskan side Halmstads BK have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Kwame Karikari in the ongoing Winter transfer window.
Karikari, 34, has signed a contract with the Örjans Vall Stadium outfit ahead of the new football season in the Swedish top-flight.
The former AIK striker is moving to the new club on a free transfer after leaving Thai League 3 side Burapha United this January.
The club’s official website: announced the player’s transfer, saying ”Kwame Karikari was here for a few months. JANUARY 21, 1992 , Kwame Karikari was born.
”He joined HBK in 2015 from AIK, where he had played in the Swedish league. He was only with HBK in the spring before being loaned to Turkey. Before 2016, he was sold to FK Haugesund. Since then, there have been many club changes for the Ghanaian.”
