Shaibu Osei Alhassan has been appointed as the new head coach of FC AshantiGold, marking a fresh chapter for the club ahead of the upcoming season.
The former Hohoe United assistant coach takes over the technical leadership of the Obuasi-based side as management looks to rebuild and strengthen the team’s performance.
In support of the new head coach, FC AshantiGold has also named Lukman Imoro as assistant coach. Imoro joins the club after previously serving as head coach of True Democracy, bringing additional experience to the technical bench.
The new coaching partnership is expected to inject fresh ideas, improve discipline, and guide AshantiGold back to competitiveness as preparations intensify.
Club officials believe the appointments signal a strong intent to return the team to its traditional fighting spirit and winning ways.
