The 15-year-old attacker drew Reading level after Chelsea had taken the lead, showing confidence beyond his age in a high-intensity home fixture. Despite his equaliser, Chelsea regained control and went on to secure victory with two late goals.
Adjei’s performance stood out on the afternoon, as he continued his steady rise within Reading’s youth setup. The young forward, who is of Ghanaian descent, remains eligible for Ghana but currently represents England at the U15 level.
