Ghanaian young forward Kirsten Otchere gave Leicester City U21 a moment of hope when he headed home the team’s only goal from a corner in the 58th minute, during a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea U21 in Premier League 2.
The 19-year-old center forward continues to impress in his breakthrough season, now tallying three goals and two assists in eight appearances.
Otchere’s strike briefly levelled the match, but Chelsea quickly regained the lead and held on to secure victory.
Leicester City will look to build on Otchere’s promising performances as the young striker continues to develop, showing composure and aerial ability in key moments. His contributions so far indicate he is becoming a pivotal figure in the Young Foxes’ attack.
