Majeed Ashimeru has officially completed his loan move to La Louvière, bringing an end to days of negotiations between the clubs involved.
The deal, which was initially agreed earlier in January, was delayed due to differences over salary arrangements between Anderlecht and La Louvière. After successful talks, both sides reached a compromise, allowing the transfer to be finalized.
The Ghanaian midfielder is expected to gain regular playing time at his new club after limited opportunities in recent months. Sources indicate that consistent minutes on the pitch played a key role in Ashimeru’s decision, as he looks to boost his chances of returning to the Black Stars ahead of major international competitions.
The move is seen as a fresh start for the 27-year-old, who will be hoping to rediscover his best form and make a strong impact during his loan spell.
