Stoke City have completed the loan signing of Crystal Palace forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
The 23-year-old winger, who has played six times in the Premier League for the Eagles, helped Sheffield United reach the Championship play-off final last term by scoring seven goals in 22 starts.
In the first half of this season, Rak-Sakyi passed 100 career appearances during a loan spell in the Turkish Süper Lig with Çaykur Rizespor, where he added four goals and an assist in 11 appearances.
The former England U21 international will wear the number 21 shirt for the Potters as he links up with Mark Robins’ side for the final third of the campaign.
“Having identified Jesurun as a target prior to the January transfer window, we are now delighted to make him a Stoke City player for the season’s final third,” Sporting Director Jonathan Walters said.
“He has provided goals and assists throughout his career to date, including in last season’s Championship for Sheffield United, when he was a standout forward player.
“The way he plays the game is exciting and direct, so I’m sure our supporters will quickly take to him and make him feel completely at home.”
Rak-Sakyi, who three seasons ago was named Charlton Athletic’s Player of the Season after he directly contributed to 24 goals in a loan spell with the Addicks, added: “I’m delighted to finally become a Stoke City player and grateful to have this platform to play at such a big club with great ambitions.
“The club is in a good position, and we want to strive for more. I know the potential that I have and with the right support system around me and the right club like Stoke City, I believe I can showcase what I can do and help the team.”
Rak-Sakyi’s bet365 bow could come in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round tie against Premier League Fulham later this month, with supporters able to secure early bird adult tickets from £12 (juniors from £5) until 23:59 on Thursday, February 12.
